All You Need to Know About Stranger Things – Season 4

Are you excited about the release of stranger things, season 4?

Stranger Things season 4 is currently being binged worldwide by Netflix subscribers who now have access to the show’s most-awaited season.


Or at least the first seven of nine supersized episodes.

We waited nearly three years for new “Stranger Things” episodes, and while that felt like an eternity, the wait was totally worth it!
 

Without spoiling the incredible ending of the first half of season four, we can say without a doubt that season four is by far and away the most violent, sinister, and dark season of “Stranger Things” that we’ve ever seen; it’s not close.


We see in the score trends that Stranger Things season 4 is now actively reviewing better than season 3, almost as good as season 2, though nothing will probably ever catch season 1.


We’ve watched the characters grow through multiple seasons, and along the way, the show has gotten more serious and darker.


It's been a long time since we got new Stranger Things episodes, but now the long-awaited season is out, and fans are more than excited to watch the latest season. 

Length of Episodes of Season 4? 


The length of Stranger Things seasons 4 is much longer than previous seasons, marking a total of 12 hours and 51 minutes, and fans have had varied responses.

Who will star in Stranger Things season 4?

In June 2021, Netflix revealed four new characters were joining the cast: 

  • Amybeth McNulty AKA Vickie: “a cool, fast-talking band nerd who catches the eye of one of our beloved heroes.”
  • Myles Truitt AKA Patrick: "a Hawkins basketball star who has friends, talent, and a good life…until shocking events send his life spiraling out of control."
  • Regina Ting Chen, AKA Ms. Kelly: “a popular guidance counselor who cares deeply for her students — especially those struggling the most.”
  • Grace Van Dien AKA Chrissy: “Hawkins’ High lead cheerleader and the most popular girl in school. But beneath the seemingly perfect surface lies a dark secret.”

Will Stranger Things season 4 be the last?


Thankfully, no. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Duffer brothers confirmed that season 4 will not be the last and that the break from filming has allowed them to flesh out the plot.


Ross Duffer stated, "[the pandemic] has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story.


Netflix has now confirmed that season 5 will be the final season, but there could be a big spin-off in the future!

Recapping the Previous Seasons (1,2 & 3)


Stranger Things 4 landed on Netflix on May 27th, with the first seven episodes of the season.


The final two episodes of the show come to Netflix in July. This is the penultimate season of Stranger Things and sets the stage for the final showdown in Season 5.


Since it’s been mighty three years since we last hung out with Eleven, Mike, Hopper, and the rest of the Stranger gang, it’s helpful to recap what came before so that you don’t have to go back and watch the entire first three seasons again if you don’t want to.

Is Season 4 Worth the Hype?


We waited nearly three years for new “Stranger Things” episodes, and while that felt like an eternity, it was ultimately worth it.


From the storyline to the show's direction, everything is up to the mark! This season has given content beyond our expectations, and we must say that it is totally worth the hype!
We’ve watched the characters grow through multiple seasons, and along the way, the show has gotten more serious and darker along the way.


There are some incredibly violent moments in season four, including the killing of multiple kids. While death isn’t a new part of “Stranger Things,” the kills in season four are unlike anything we’ve seen before!


It also felt like there was less humor in season four through the first seven episodes, and we don’t think that’s bad. Hawkins is at war with another evil monster raining down evil, and Eleven is fighting to get her powers back. Also, the Hopper storyline in Russia is as good as anticipated.


Conclusion:


We are truly stunned by how impressive and how great the latest season of the Netflix show was through the first seven episodes. The latest season has just made us the biggest fan of this Tv series. Two more episodes are coming in July, and if they’re anything like the first part of season four, they will also be insane!
